To publish our own videos we authorise our own TikTok accounts via TikTok's OAuth. The resulting access/refresh tokens are stored securely on our private server and used only to upload our content. We do not access other users' data beyond the basic profile of our own authorised account.
With the account owner's authorisation, we read the connected account's own public information via TikTok's APIs: basic profile (open id, display name, avatar), profile details and public statistics (follower, like and video counts). This is used only to confirm the correct account and to let the owner track the performance of their own content. We never read or post on behalf of any other user.
Publishing happens through TikTok's official APIs, governed by TikTok's own privacy policy.
